Not ever lesson HSA Springfield students learn is taught in the classroom. While many relaxed over spring break, several of our students used this time off as an opportunity to explore a number of exceptionally educational museums in our nation’s capital — Washington, D.C.  Among other things, students had the opportunity to work in a forensic science lab at the “Crime and Punishment” Museum and explore the skeletal frames of current and past animals at the “Museum of Natural History.” From start to finish, this trip was educational and enriching, with students spending hours exploring, reading, and engaging in hands-on learning — all of the things our bright students love best.
