May 29, 2013 marked the last day Horizon Science Academy Springfield students and teachers could be ready for the Ohio Achievement Assessments (OAA). The kindergarten through 2nd grade students wanted to show their support by being the biggest cheerleaders they could be on Monday afternoon. The students lined the hallways with posters and signs chanting “O-A-A, O-A-A, O-A-A!” as the 3rd through 8th grade classes walked through the first floor corridors. Teachers were virtually in tears with the support that the teachers and young students provided. Horizon Science Academy Springfield demonstrated the ever prevailing teamwork approach on Monday, with the hopes that it encouraged greatness on the tests.
