Students at HSA Springfield learned about the dangers of bullying during the week of October 7, 2013 as part of the 2013 Anti-Bullying Week. Teachers presented bullying-relevant lessons in their classes throughout the week, and students documented their learning by completing Bullying Prevention Passports. All students who completed their passports earned the right to wear purple to signify their dedication to stopping bullying. On Friday, students listened to some advice from community bullying experts Lisa Kovich, University of Toledo Professor, and radio DJ Sid Kelly. Staff and Students alike appreciated the opportunity to focus on this important topic and move forward committed to preventing bullying.
